USD 11 million) before selling their stakes in Pranita to Gardner Aerospace (a tier 1 supplier for Airbus) in July 2016.

What was a simple machine shop in 2001 grew to a facility with INR 3 crore annual turnover (USD 0.5 million) by 2012. It was the year that Pranita entered into a joint venture with Gardner, a UK group which was one of the biggest suppliers to Airbus. “Ours was the first joint venture in India of that size,” says Srini.

“Our aim is to supply and support the world’s leading aircraft OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) like Airbus, Boeing, Rolls Royce and Safran and their first tier suppliers,” says Srini.
